You are invited to attend the Innovate@UCLA Young Tech Professionals (YTP) Tech Bootcamp Demo Day. 3 teams from the bootcamp will showcase their projects to a panel of judges.

Young Tech Professionals is an Innovate@UCLA student group. The Tech Bootcamp was open only to UCLA undergraduate and graduate students who have submitted an application and were accepted to the bootcamp. The bootcamp's purpose was to educate the students on the use of Google Ventures Design Thinking framework. 21 students participated in the bootcamp and 3 teams of 7 students each were formed. Each team was coached by industry experts from Pivotal and mobileforming LLC. This quarter, Innovate@UCLA YTP has partnered with County of Los Angeles to have the teams focus on sovling 3 social problems:

  • Team Hestia: Providing easy to navigate shelter information to the homeless community

  • Team Health Score: Prioritizing restaurant food safety inspections

  • Team Tetra: Analysis of data to optimize Fire Department's response to fires
